Introduction

The giant Lockheed Martin is one of the world's largest defense, security, and aerospace companies. It provides a broad range of high technology products and services to customers in more than 100 countries. The company's name is derived from Lockheed (a maker of aircraft), Marin (a maker of missiles), and Martin (an industrialist).

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is the world's largest aeronautical company. The company was founded in 1916, when the Wright brothers designed and built their first airplane at the behest of the U.S. Army Signal Corps.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics has produced more than 30,000 aircraft for customers around the world since then, including jet fighter planes, transport airplanes and helicopters for military use as well as commercial aircraft such as Boeings and Airbuses used by airlines like United Airlines or American Airlines to deliver passengers wherever they need to go—and sometimes even beyond!

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control

Missile and fire control systems are used to detect, track and destroy hostile aircraft, missiles and other weapons. Air defense systems provide protection against air attacks from foreign aircraft or missiles. Airborne radar systems detect targets at low altitudes in the atmosphere so that they can be engaged by anti-aircraft weapons on the ground. Target acquisition and tracking systems allow manned aircraft to identify hostile targets without them having to go through their own radar networks first; this allows for faster engagement times than would be possible otherwise (you can't shoot at something if you don't know where it's going). Combat training systems simulate realistic scenarios which involve defending your base against various types of threats—this helps improve your ability to respond appropriately during real-life combat situations! Advanced electronic warfare (EW) capabilities help defeat enemy EW

Takeaway:

Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company. It offers advanced technology solutions for government and commercial customers in more than 100 countries.

Lockheed Martin has been a leader in aeronautics since 1918, when it was founded as the Lockheed Company by former barnstormer Allan E. Levien, who had designed and built his own aircraft after World War I. The company grew rapidly during the 1920s, becoming one of the world's largest arms manufacturers by 1930 with contracts from both sides of World War II (WWII). In 1946, it merged with Vultee Aircraft Corporation to become what would later be known as Lockheed Aircraft Corporation or LAC; this merger created an immediate competitor to Boeing which caused some tension between them until both companies realized they could work together more effectively if they cooperated instead!

Conclusion

Lockheed Martin is a global defense, security and aerospace company. The company is known for its advanced technology, innovation, quality products and services and strong commitment to its customers.
